Sales Engineer
Conducts experiments and tests on existing designs and equipment to obtain data on functions of and performance of equipment.
Analyzes data in order to develop new designs or modify existing automotive interior or trim components to utilize slide fasteners, hook & loop, injected hardware and other company developments that may be applied to the application.
Designs components and systems to provide maximum customer value and vehicle function including improved economy and safety of operation, control of function, and operational performance, at optimum costs.
Directs and coordinates development, or modification of existing designs to ensure conformance with engineering specifications. Directs testing activities to ensure operational performance meets design specifications.
Alters or modifies design to obtain specified functional and operational performance.
Conducts research studies to develop new concepts in automotive engineering field.
Develops & conducts presentation for purchasing, design or engineering tams at the OEM or Tier I levels to exhibit company products. Conducts & coordinates activities at Supplier Forums, Discovery Reviews and Value Eng Activities to present company products for the purpose of Demand Creation.
Four year degree in Engineering, and 10 years experience in the interior and trim component field.
