Qualinty Engineer - Macon Georgia
The Quality Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all parts meet customer approved specifications.
Responsibilities:
Contact with customers to discuss quality issues.
Operation and calibration of gauges.
Presence on plant floor to verify that hourly checks are being done.
Reaction to and verification of out of spec conditions.
Maintenance of paperwork/files concerning quality certifications.
Inspection and disposition of final part quality.
Troubleshoot/problem solve.
PPAP experience/Control Plans/PFMEA/Process Flow.
SPC Experience.
Minimum Requirements:
Good Communication skills
Ability to use rulers, calipers, mics
Ability to be on plant floor to answer questions and troubleshoot
Automotive Quality Engineer background - 2 years min
Problem solving experience on the production floor
Pay range $45-55K
